A poke is a low threshold communication between candidates and companies to show interest.
Candidates on WA.works are anonymous to everyone but the companies they choose to be open for or if they change their profile visibility to open. Poking or accepting a poke is a way of choosing those companies.
- Candidates can poke companies through Companies in their menu.
- Companies can poke candidates through Dashboard in their menu.
Poking a company will instantly grant that company access to the candidate's WA profile. But poking a candidate requires that the candidate responds with either granting or denying access to their profile.
- All admins in the company receive an email when they are poked by a candidate
- Candidates receive an email notification stating which company have poked them and send them to the Accessibility page to accept or deny the request
Candidates can revoke a company's access to their WA through Accessibility, and companies can remove the candidate by clicking Thumbs down in Dashboard.
